2024 Women Make Waves International Film Festival
Taiwan × NYCU LAC
Exploring a Diverse World Through Cinema
This year marks the 31st anniversary of Taiwan's longest-running and most historically significant thematic film festival—the Women's Film Festival! Organized by the non-profit Taiwan Women's Film Society, the festival annually screens films from a gender perspective, inviting audiences across Taiwan to reflect on and discuss issues related to gender, culture, and society. In collaboration with the Boya Library, the Women's Film Festival is thrilled to present two exciting film screening events this year, each featuring a post-screening discussion. We warmly invite you to join us!
Whether you're a film enthusiast, someone interested in social issues, or keen on gender topics, this captivating cinematic journey is not to be missed! Let's find resonance on the big screen, contemplate endless possibilities, and broaden our horizons together!
