Brief Introduction:
Carbon neutrality is more than just a slogan. It is a practical and achievable measure for reducing climate impact. Over 130 countries worldwide have declared and initiated actions to achieve “net-zero emissions by 2050.” In 2022, Taiwan also announced its pathway and strategy for reaching net-zero emissions, incorporating the 2050 net-zero target into the “Climate Change Response Act.” As microcosms of society, university campuses carry the aspirations of promoting environmental protection and sustainable development. Achieving carbon neutrality on campus not only reflects universities' social responsibility but also acts as a catalyst for liberal arts education and the robust advancement of interdisciplinary research and studies.
