IV. Blood donation related information

1. Blood Donor Health Standards:

A. Age: over 17 years old, under 65 years old, generally in good health

B. Weight: women should be over 45 kg, and men should be over 50 kg.

C. Body temperature: Oral temperature should not exceed 37.5 degrees Celsius.

D. Blood pressure: 90~160/50~95 mm Hg

E. Hemoglobin: over 13 g％ for men and over 12 g％ for women



2. Donate whole blood (mainly red blood cells and plasma)

A. 250 ml will recover in about 3-4 weeks, so you can donate once every two months

B. 500 ml will recover in about 6-8 weeks, so you can donate once every three months



3. Blood transfusion safety promotion:

Not everyone can donate blood, proper AIDS prevention and safety of blood transfusion in schools:

Anonymous screening is accurate, privacy-oriented and free. Doing anonymous screening regularly and facing yourself is to love yourself.
