N-Your-Campus-U Campus Connection Project

"Which Campus Are You From?" As a student at Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, this question has become quite the icebreaker with the rising popularity of inter-campus activities. Did you know that Yang-Ming Chiao Tung actually has nine campuses scattered across Yilan, Taipei, Hsinchu, and Tainan? How many have you explored?

Riding the wave of campus connectivity, the Liberal Arts College (LAC) Community and Peer Education Center (CPEC) proudly presents the brand-new "N-Your-Campus-U Campus Connection Project." Let's embark on a journey to discover campuses in various cities, exploring the unique connections between academic disciplines and local communities, turning the diversity of spaces into a resource for exploration!

Last semester, we completed the inaugural journey to the "Yilan Station." Have you collected our coveted 'N' pillows yet? Well, get ready, because the sizzling 'Y' pillows are on their way to your homes! For our second stop, let's head to Taipei and get acquainted with the Yangming Campus in Beitou/Shihpai and the Beimen Campus in downtown Taipei! At the Yangming Campus, we'll delve into the campus history through guided tours of the library and the Paul Han House, offering a comprehensive understanding of the campus's past and present. During our visit in Yangming Day(陽明日), Paul Han House has prepared some limited-edition, highly collectible mystery gifts. Don't miss out!

Aside from campus history, did you know? This year, the university is establishing a Traditional Chinese Medicine department. In light of this, we've teamed up with the National Research Institute Of Chinese Medicine, located on the Yangming Campus, for a chance to glimpse precious herbal medicine specimens and understand the modern face of traditional medicine.

For those familiar with the Yangming Campus, are you starting to feel a bit too comfortable in your own backyard? Well, let's extend our hospitality on Yangming Day! During the campus tour, there will be a checkpoint called "Living in Yangming." Students who have experienced life in Yangming Campus, whether through their department, sports teams, clubs, service teams, or dorms, are welcomed to share their insights. If you know some stories about Yangming that others might not, sign up as a day worker! In addition to the granted opportunity to participate in the event, we'll also provide remuneration for committee work and on-the-day duties (hourly wage of 210 NTD, based on individual hours). Thank you for helping other campus friends understand each other better!

As for the Beimen Campus, it's tightly linked to the urban exploration theme of this project! If you've been to Taipei, you've probably visited Taipei Main Station, right? But do you know about the North Gate, "Cheng'en Gate," next to Taipei Main Station? How much of Taipei's development history has it witnessed? Let's play time-traveling explorers and unveil the secrets of vanished Taipei Old Town!

Follow the N-Y-C-U Campus Connection Project and make every campus "Your-Campus"!
