Greetings to all! In order to conduct the 112-2 Off-Campus Housing Safety Education Program, titled “Renting ‘Chill’: Safeguarding Rights and Safety,” we have specially invited Instructor Wang Guowei, Director of the Military Training Office at Aletheia University. He will share practical cases encountered during off-campus housing over the years, aiming to enhance the safety literacy and legal knowledge of our university’s faculty, staff, and students regarding rental accommodations. The goal is to understand the intricacies of renting a house and ensure the protection of individual rights.

Here are the details for this event, which will be conducted both in-person and online:

1. In-Person Lecture Participants: Limited to 50 seats. Online participants, please indicate your preference within the registration system.
2. Online Lecture Participants: Please log in promptly on May 8 (Wednesday) from 11:50 to 13:00 using your school email account (e.g., NYCU001@nycu.edu.tw) to access the online meeting room. Follow the instructions in the message area to complete the online sign-in. If you are not using a school email address, approval from the meeting host is required.

4. In-Person Lecture Participants: Those who have pre-registered and attend the entire session will receive a meal (one per person). If you find that you cannot participate after registering, please cancel your registration with the organizers to avoid inconvenience to others. Online participants will not receive meal boxes.
5. After 13:10, any remaining meals will be available for on-site registrants.
6. Students willing to cooperate with on-site safety inspections related to rental accommodations will receive convenience store vouchers as an incentive to ensure residential safety.
