【講員簡介】

江正明教授現為 UT Southwestern Medical Center 生物化學與藥學系教授，主要研究為BRD4在表觀遺傳控制和癌症治療、染色質轉錄/轉譯後修飾、人類乳突病毒(HPV)的基因調控、真核轉錄中人類普遍轉錄因子與輔助因子、p53腫瘤抑制因子的功能與調節等；同時，其曾榮獲玉山學者，目前亦是Journal of Biological Chemistry 及 Faculty of 1000的編委會成員，一生致力貢獻於提升台灣醫藥研發能量。

【Topic】 BRD4 in Transcription Programmimg and Cancer Therapy
【Abstract】
Professor Cheng-Ming Chiang is currently a faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His primary research focuses on the epigenetic control and cancer therapy involving BRD4, chromatin transcription/translation modifications, gene regulation of human papillomavirus (HPV), general transcription factors and co-factors in eukaryotic transcription, as well as the function and regulation of the p53 tumor suppressor. He has been honored as a Yushan Scholar and is currently a committee member for the Journal of Biological Chemistry and Faculty of 1000. Throughout his lifetime, he has dedicated himself to enhancing Taiwan's capabilities in medical and pharmaceutical research and development.
